It's Not Just About Horses For Us!
The Western Hearts Ranch was born out the 2009 financial crisis.  Middle income families could no longer afford their horses, and the market for this sector had completely collapsed.  The Berlinger family owned the four last remaining horses on the property and made the decision to attempt bringing the ranch back to life with the goal of serving the middle income horse community in the Peoria area. The property was purchased in 2012, and Western Hearts Ranch was born; in the Heart of Illinois, with the spirit of the Heart of the horse and its owner and in thanksgiving for the Heart of our Savior and His Mother.

At Western Heart's Ranch we take pride in taking good care of our four and two legged friends. The ranch is a relaxing place where you can have peace of mind that your loved ones will be safe and looked after. That is our family's promise. We have spent a great deal of time and energy creating a safe, wholesome and happy environment to enjoy the great outdoors.

Since the beginning, we have come to realize the power these beautiful creatures have on humanity when they are engaged.  We help many special needs situations from physical, mental, or that very special need called the Bradley University Student.

We are a private, family friendly ranch and riding club, proudly situated on 17 acres of Illinois farmland. Our ranch is only 5 minutes from Jubilee State Park.  Facilities and 24/7 staff are available for boarding with indoor and outdoor arenas. We also have  a 3 horse slant trailer that can be used on a first come, first use basis.
